New Mexico MEP is proud to be an integral part of the New Mexico Space Valley Coalition, a team of public and private entities driving America’s space industry right here in New Mexico. By working together, we are laying the foundation of a holistic approach to space commercialization and exploration that is diverse and accessible to all New Mexicans.
For example, coalition partner STEMarts Lab in Northern New Mexico is developing the space workforce of the future by offering cutting-edge STEM training and experiences through its Space Messenger Program. And Navajo Technical University is bringing world-class advanced manufacturing technology, along with the workforce to use it, to New Mexico through its Center for Advanced Manufacturing. New Mexico State University is working with space tech companies on groundbreaking research for new space applications and graduating hundreds of space-ready engineers every year. New Mexico Tech, NewSpace NEXUS, and other partners are driving similarly important initiatives.
New Mexico MEP supports all of these efforts as we introduce youth to the manufacturing careers of tomorrow through Mfg Day activities.
And today? Manufacturers and space technology companies can rely on us to help them increase their competitiveness and transform their operations to become the best they can be now and in this new world of space.
