ISO 9001:2008 Preparation for Certification

The New Mexico Economic Development Department, in collaboration with the New Mexico Manufacturing Extension Partnership, is offering New Mexico 9000 training classes to prepare New Mexico businesses for ISO 9001 Certification.

The first session is scheduled for January 13, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the New Mexico State University Albuquerque branch, 4501 Indian School Rd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.

Principles of Lean Manufacturing Workshops

The training sessions are part of an integrated suite of tools and services. The concepts and practices taught in these training sessions are powerful and proven. They’ve helped companies significantly improve their operations from shop floor to front office.

We offer both public and private training sessions on the principles of lean manufacturing. One of the strengths of the curriculum is its simulation-based approach. In a live simulation our experts will guide you through the transition from a traditional to a lean manufacturing environment eliminating waste and increasing productivity, thus enabling you to gain a competitive edge in the marketplace.

Fees
$350/ pp (includes all materials, breakfast and lunch)

Funding is available for qualifying businesses wishing to participate in the New Mexico MEP Lean Concepts Training. Funding is offered through the New Mexico Small Business Assistance Program with Sandia and Los Alamos National Laboratories. Please contact us to verify eligibility.

Time

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. (Continental breakfast is available).   Training sessions begin at 8:00 a.m. and end by 5:00 p.m.
Casual attire is appropriate.
